At West Wind Montessori we combine the best of Montessori education and play-based/nature philosophies into one model to benefit the whole child. 

 

In the morning we have a Montessori "work" period focused on engaging with the Montessori curriculu including language, math, cultural, science, biology, life skills and the peace curriculum.

In the afternoons, after lunch and a quiet rest period children will have additional play options available to them including creative and open play options, guided art projects, cooking/baking as well as plenty of outdoor/physical activity.
